Mission Statement

The Living Legacy Foundation is a nonprofit organization created to educate the Northwest community about organ and tissue donation. Our mission is to increase organ and tissue donation by raising money for education and outreach programs, increasing enrollment in donor registries and eliminating barriers to donation.

Description

The Seattle Marathon Family of Events has become one of the largest and most influential mass-participation runs on the West Coast, and is ranked by Runners World Magazine as one of the top 20 marathons in the United States.

The Living Legacy Foundation is honored to be working together with the University of Washington Medical Center and the Seattle Marathon Association to fundraise for public education programs and raise awareness about the importance of choosing to be an organ and tissue donor. Every dollar of your contribution directly supports organ and tissue donation education in the northwest.
