Mission Statement

The Upper Salinas-Las Tablas Resource Conservation District is a local, non-regulatory agency whose mission is to protect, improve and sustain the natural resources of San Luis Obispo County through voluntary community stewardship and technical assistance.

Description

We promote responsible stewardship by:

  • Promotion of watershed based land stewardship, including sustainable agriculture
  • Protection and enhancement of waterways and water quality
  • Reduction of soil erosion
  • Preservation and restoration of wildlife habitat
  • Fostering of an informed and knowledgeable community
