Description

NAMI educates families about brain disorders, treatment advances, coping skills, and how to access the public mental health system. NAMI promotes a recovery model that emphasizes strengths. We promote public awareness to dispel myths and stigma associated with mental illness, and provide support and education meetings for families and the community. NAMI advocates for a strong local community health system.
