Mission Statement

To foster global understanding and contribute to world peace by building bridges of international awareness and understanding among the people of New Mexico and emerging leaders from around the world, through international exchange programs, local educational programs, and international community-building activities.

Description

The Albuquerque Council for International Visitors is now Global Ties ABQ! Each year we bring more than 150 emerging leaders from around the world to Albuquerque to meet with their counterparts in: business, education, government, NGO leadership, conservation, healthcare, governance, multicultural societies and much more . We connect international visitors, our community and our members to one another through citizen diplomacy and international exchange. As citizen diplomats, we positively build US and International Relations "one hand shake at a time."
