Veterans Guest House
A "Home Away From Home"
The Veterans Guest House provides United States Military service veterans and their family temporary overnight accommodations while receiving treatment at a medical facility in the Reno/Sparks area. Typically our guests reside at least 35 miles away and are independent and able to care for themselves or have a caregiver.
Location: 880 Locust St., Reno, NV, just north of the VA Medical Center and centrally located to all health care facilities in the Reno-Sparks area.
Amenities: The Guest House offers all the comforts of home with semi-private bedrooms and baths a continental breakfast, kitchen facilities where guests can make their own meals, a living room, a television room and internet/wifi capability. For those with physical challenges, an elevator and handicap access make it easy to get around. Although you will find a lot of amenities, most importantly, we provide a safe, caring and supportive home at a time when you or your family members are dealing with more pressing issues.
Cost: Guests are asked to make a donation to help defray our operating costs. No one is turned away for a lack of funds. We are 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation supported by private donations. We do not receive any federal or state funds for the day-to-day operation of the Guest House.
