Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote sustainable livings by providing education support with the help of international volunteers. Our target groups are poor, disadvantaged and disabled people in local, ethnic communities in Vietnam.

For our projects we select villagers and underprivileged people; we aim to educate and train them in a hospitable manner and with the support of international volunteers. By performing daily tasks, the local people will learn new approaches and enhance their skills. Besides that, the volunteers will have a chance to immerse themselves in the local community and interact with people in need for a better life.

Description

V.E.O. is building a community network that aims to connect volunteers with local people. By "Volunteering for Education" we believe it is possible to improve the living standard of local people. We identify the needs of underprivileged people and then create placements for volunteers so they can join the growing network and contribute their valuable time to support local communities in a meaningful way.

Visited Sapa for the first time with V.E.O last weekend and it was amazing! Got the chance to not only volunteer and teach at some local primary schools but also to learn more about some vietnamese traditions and food. We were about 15 volunteers in the trip and everyone was so lovely! We had a good time volunteering together as well as enjoying Sapa’s beautiful views. Would definitely recommend a volunteering trip with V.E.O :)
