A Hebrew acronym for "Wisdom, Understanding and Knowledge", "Chabad" is a world wide organization with over 2700 branches internationally.

Chabad seeks to bridge rigorous academics with proactive community involvement while promoting mystical, legal and social principals of Torah through modern mediums and technology and innovative programs always remaining rooted in traditional Jewish values.

Description

Chabad of San Francisco is committed to developing high-quality outreach programs to expand the availability of the joyful, loving Chassidic approach to Judaism. Jews of all backgrounds are welcomed to participate in the social services, educational programs and Shabbos and holiday celebrations that have become the hallmark of Chabad Houses everywhere.
