The Downtown Alliance and Visit Salt Lake are looking for volunteers who love Downtown and want learn even more about it and share their knowledge and passion with others. Downtown Ambassadors are volunteers that are the friendly faces of downtown. Whether you just enjoy being of service, want to help improve your community or just interested in meeting new people, being a Downtown Ambassador can satisfy all those needs. Description

Downtown Ambassadors provide a friendly resource to help everyone learn about the many activities and assets available downtown. Ambassadors offer directions, helpful information and recommendations on things to see and do, places to visit or shop, places to dine or get a drink as well as information about local events. They also provide assistance with the GREENbike program, parking meters and are knowledgeable about other parking options downtown. In general, if someone has a question, an Ambassador is just the one to ask. Don’t worry if you don’t already know all the answers - we will provide you with the necessary resources and training.
