Description

The Community Building Institute focuses on asset-based community planning that promotes development that is driven by the community rather than by outside agencies. This emphasizes the community's existing physical assets and the passion of its residents rather than simply constructing buildings and fixing problems. The Community Building Institute is a partnership between Xavier University and United Way of Greater Cincinnati.
