We recognize that sickness and injury cause more than simple physical suffering and that health is well being of the whole person. We provide psychological and spiritual care and attend to the social relationships that can suppor the healing of our patients. We collaborate with others, including persons who are poor or underserved, in the communities we serve to assess the health needs of each community, to set priorities and to develop or maintain programs that address the needs.
