Mission Statement

Children's Hospital and Research Center at Oakland (CHRCO) is a private, not-for-profit facility, operating 24 hours a day, seven days a week. CHRCO's mission is to provide leadership in the delivery of all levels of pediatric care, in pediatric training and pediatric research. This is accomplished through providing inpatient and outpatient care, specialty clinics, outreach services in the community, an extensive residency training program, and a comprehensive research component.

Description

Children's Hospital & Research Center Foundation is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to supporting all the work we do at Children's Hospital. Raising millions of dollars every year, the Foundation is a large part of our success as a hospital and pediatric research center. Several volunteer opportunities exist through the Foundation, ranging from planning our annual events and fundraisers to helping run the office itself. The focus here is less on patient care and more on finding ways to create a sustainable and lasting gift for the future--and that requires your help.
