Mission Statement

Our Mission
Why We Are Here
To provide quality care to the aged and infirm in the communities where we provide care.

Our Vision
What We Aspire To Be
Riverside will be where people turn when they need compassionate care, leading edge technology, and the service and support they deserve.

Our Values
What We Believe In, What We Stand For
We believe in the ability of healthcare to make a difference in the lives of others and we believe in the people who make that difference.

Clinically sophisticated, yet intimate and comfortable, Riverside Regional Convalescent Center was one of the first centers in the area to provide Medicare skilled services. The 60-bed medicare skilled unit provides RN coverage 24 hours a day, a full time Nurse Practitioner and a team of dedicated physicians, nurses, aides, social workers, and dietitians. In addition, a full time chaplain oversees the Pastoral Care program and directs interdenominational services in the welcoming Chapel.

The subacute unit specializes in wound management, intravenous therapy, rehabilitation, and complex medical care. In addition, a specialized memory impaired unit for individuals with minimal to moderate dementia provides a structured program in a calm, comfortable, and safe environment.

Twenty-four hour nursing care is also provided. Accommodations throughout the Center include tastefully furnished private and semi-private rooms, courtyards, lounges, dining areas, and a beauty shop. Monthly support groups are provided to enhance family education and involvement.

Levels of care:
Respite, intermediate, skilled, subacute, memory impaired, hospice

Rehabilitation services:
Physical, speech, occupational, respiratory, recreational

Resident capacity: 240
