Legal Aid Society of Hawaii (LASHAW) is a non-profit law firm with branches on all islands that provides low and no cost legal services to the community for civil matters. The staff is comprised of attorneys, paralegals, advocates and volunteers. LASHAW also provides education and outreach, benefits counseling, services for youth and the elderly and services for indigent clients. LASHAW is funded by a number of different grants and through private and corporate donations.
