Mission Statement

The Veterans of Foreign Wars is committed to assisting local Combat Veterans and thier families by providing financial and personal support. We are a community based organization specifically geared towards supporting our local Veterans. VFW Post 1689 owns and maintains a Veterans cemetery located on St Augustine Road. The maintenance and upkeep is solely done by volunteers. All help in the maintenance of this historic Veterans cemetery is welcome.

Description

The Veterans of Foreign Wars is an elite Veterans organization of Combat Veterans. Our motto; "No One Does More For Veterans" is indicative of our all encompassing support to Veternas both locally and nationally. We strive to let no Vetern go unnoticed. Our Commmuntiy and Youth Activities programs help the community and other non-progit organizations.
