Mission Statement

The Iowa Equine Rescue Network (IERN) provides dedicated foster and adoptive placement for neglected, abused, and unwanted equines. We will provide educational services to promote responsible horsemanship practices.

Description

IERN responded to the seizure of 68 horses in Palo in March, 2005. We are commited to increasing public awareness of equine issues and promoting responsible ownership in the state of Iowa and following horses rehabilitated by IERN for 3 years after adoption.
