VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
for
GENERATION HOME CARE, INC.
VOLUNTEER TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM
The Generations Volunteer Transportation Program provides transportation to seniors 60 years of age and older, who are not able to obtain necessary transportation to health care appointments.
We are looking for volunteers who:
Are willing to transport seniors to a medical appointment, diagnostic center, or to the drug store for medications.
Are willing to drive their own vehicles.
Are caring and want to reach out to a senior in New Castle County.
Are able to drive a minimum of once a month.
Volunteer schedules are very flexible. You select the days and times that are convenient for you, as well as the areas you prefer to drive in.
Caring volunteers provide seniors with safe, comfortable and efficient rides to their health care appointments. Reaching out to seniors makes a great difference in their lives, and is very rewarding for the volunteer.
