Description

The Ridge Rangers Volunteer Program works to conserve the natural areas of the Lake Wales Ridge in Highlands and Polk Counties. We collaborate with 12 private and public land managing areas along the ridge. Volunteer projects include trail maintenance, fence repair and removal, wildlife monitoring, trash pick up, exotic plant removal and more.
