Mission Statement

Our MISSION is to advance the quality of cancer care through awareness and availability to cutting edge cancer clinical trials in the South Sound; to educate and promote the importance of cancer research in our communities; to coordinate the resources to allow all cancer patients, irrespective of cost, the opportunity to take advantage of the best research options for their treatment; to be recognized for excellence in cancer clinical research.

Description

The South Sound Region is fortunate to have nationally recognized oncologists and clinical research institutions.

Until recently, there has not been a highly coordinated source of funding for these unique clinical research trials. Trials that may provide innovative therapy for patients that would otherwise be unavailable.

Our VISION is to ensure access to cancer clinical trials for every patient in the South Sound Region.

Excellent organization to work with and volunteer for. They are very open to ideas and interested in what volunteers have to say. What the South Sound CARE Foundation is doing for cancer research is exceptionally important and I am proud to be a part of it.
