Here's a sample of our volunteer opportunities:VIEW AS
To empower people with disabilities and disadvantages to maximize their potential by securing economic self-sufficiency, independence and integration into society.
Since 1960, Bobby Dodd Institute (BDI) has worked to improve the 70% unemployment rate among individuals with severe disabilities in Atlanta by offering a broad range of career services and employment opportunities.
Last year alone, we served 629 people with job training, employment opportunities, or other support through our Workforce Resources programs. We placed 106 people with disabilities in jobs with community employers or one of our social enterprises, and employed 179 people in our own social enterprises, a 17% increase over last year.
BDI clients have learned the pride and dignity that comes with having meaningful employment and being productive and participating members of society.
