Mission Statement

S.O.S. PETS, Inc. is a 501c3 not for profit, no-kill cat rescue organization. Through rescue from kill facilities, rehabilitation of sick and un-socialized pets, and a 100% spay/neuter policy, S.O.S. PETS, Inc. hopes to end cat overpopulation and place all cats in loving homes.

Description

S.O.S PETS does not have a brick and mortar shelter. Our cats are placed in foster homes until they are ready for adoption. Our adoptable cats are then showcased in the Rockaway Petsmart Adoption Center for adoption. All animals in our care are spayed or neutered and receive all life saving or necessary medical attention. When these foster animals are emotionally and physically healed, we search for the correct human companion for each, ensuring a loving, permanent home.
