Mission Statement

Mission Statement:
Hope Ministry of Alamance is a community program sponsored by area churches, civic organizations and individuals. Our goal is to provide volunteer support to people who are 60+ years old, in Alamance County, to help them live with independence and dignity, safely in their home as long as possible.

Description

* To provide assistance to individuals 60 years of age and up, regardless of ethnic origins, income level, or religious preference at no charge, through the services of volunteers. Services include companionship/visits, phone calls, minor home repairs, light yard work, light household chores, limited transportation and, when possible, brief (non-professional) respite care.

* To closely link HOPE Ministry's informal volunteer services with Alamance ElderCare's comprehensive care management, information, and assistance.

* To provide emotional and physical support to Caregivers by means of providing referrals, information.
