Mission Statement

The mission of Cambridge House Enrichment Center is to provide respite care to caregivers of homebound adults ages 19 to seniors with functional disabilities that require 24 hour monitoring and to provide an alternative to institutional long term care.

Description

Providing adult day program for adults and seniors with functional disabilities that include memory loss and other forms of dementia that require 24 hour monitoring.

Services are designed to assist caregivers of low and fixed incomes with a means of respite care at their convenience when they must work or have other business to take care.

Programming is designed to keep participants alert and stimulated with continuous activities that are physical, mential and spiritually focused.

Program provides socialization for participants where they can be with their peer groups throughout the day giving them a sense of well-being and companionship.

Participants's health well-being monitored by a staff nurse who is licensed by the State of Georgia and supervised by a Registered Nurse. Each participant's wellness is monitored with the use of a care plan that is created with the help of Participant's family caregiver.

Participants are provided a balanced breakfast, hot lunches and snacks. Field trips are also included into the program and transportation to and from participant's homes.

Program is designed to work in partnership with other healthcare providers such as hospice and home health providers.

Purpose of program is to keep homebound adult individuals well, independent and out of long term care institutions for as long as possible or forever.
