Each year, Project One Focus produces a Back to School Drive and Event to help inner-city children and youth, grade K-12, with much-needed school supplies, back packs and uniforms. To date, we have helped more than 3,000 students get the tools they need to go back to school and have an equal footing with their more privileged counterparts. As we prepare for the coming school year, we need your help! We don't want to turn away any child in need of supplies. To build on last year's success, we seek groups and individuals donate funds or large quantities of supplies for our children and youth to achieve a successful school year. How You Can Help: 1. Set up a donation collection at your job, place of worship or other community setting. We can provide signs to help you promote this effort. A list of needed supplies is below. 2. Donate funding to help us purchase school supplies. 3. Volunteer to help distribute supplies at our Back to School Kickoff event in August. We are currently collecting school supplies from individuals and organizations which include: New uniforms, socks, t-shirts and shoes Paper, notebooks and folders Pens, pencils, markers, colored pencils and crayons Calculators, rulers, compasses, protractors Backpacks (mesh & clear ONLY) Hair cut vouchers Other necessary classroom items Please contact us at one-focus@swbell.net to donate or volunteer.

Dear Friends of Project One Focus, We invite your to participate in our Back to School Drive and help provide local Houston kids with the materials they need to succeed academically! Your donated school supplies will benefit the inner-city students and families all across Houston and the surrounding areas. You Can Help! It's so easy to make a difference in the lives of our youth. Please help us by donating school supplies during the months of June, July and August 2023. Volunteer opportunities are also available at the end of this posting.
