Mission Statement

The mission of the Tyrconnell Heritage Society is to preserve and promote the history, culture and area surrounding the Backus-Page House Museum within the Talbot Settlement.

Description

The Backus-Page House Museum is a restored 1850s Georgian style residence located along Lake Erie's coast. Tour the house at your own pace or with a costumed interpreter. Hike the trails in the surrounding John E. Pearce Provincial Park or enjoy a picnic lunch on the estate grounds.
