Saunders House

Description

Founded in 1864, Saunders House is located on Lancaster Avenue on the base of Lankenau Hospital in Wynnewood, Pennsylvania. Our present facility was built in 1973 and includes accommodations for some 180 residents. We are a non-profit long-term care facility offering intermediate and skilled nursing care, transitional rehabilitative care for patients who need extended treatment following a stay in the hospital, and specialized facilities and programs for those who suffer from Alzheimer's and for vision impaired individuals. We are unique because of the charitable mission we operate under which states that no resident will ever be turned away from Saunders House for lack of funds. Even if a resident outlives their financial resources and ability to pay, we will continue to care for them.
