Mission Statement

To defray indirect (out-of-pocket) expenses for low-income cancer patients through its core program MedStart-5. These expenses range from transportation, medical expenses, clothing, meals and utilities assistance and much more.

Other programs include Share and Adopt-A-Family (S.A.A.F.) which provides one-to-one matches for pre-determined assistance.

Through the Felton A. Childress, Sr. and the Rhoda A. Wilson funds provide scholarship opportunities for students or patients of cancer families currently attending school (lower or higher).
