WaLHFMF has a sanctuary that assists Antrim County agencies such as animal control by offering a place to hold pets that are in true emergency situations. That might be the pet's owner is hospitalized or has died.

This will not, be a place for the public to bring in a pet but it will be a place for the public to v isit. WaLHFMF’s new sanctuary will offer adoption of pets that cannot be reunited with their owner, a place for the non adoptable pets to live out their lives and a place for schools and community groups to visit. Programs created to assist and educate the public with animal issues will be offered.
