Mission Statement

Citizen Schools at MLK is looking for people interested in tutoring and assisting 6th and 7th graders with their homework. We are looking for people who are: committed, patient and have a desire to tutor students. There will be an initial training and resources to assist with knowing the homework content. Through this opportunity you will be better equipped to tutor young students and give back to your community. We will be tracking volunteer hours so there's proof that you have experience in tutoring students. If you are interested, please contact me.
