Mission Statement

The volunteer program is under the Education Foundation Santa Clara County. It ensures a quality experience for volunteers and students in county managed programs to include alternative Schools for at risk youth, special education for students birth through 22 years old, Head Start Pre-School, Environmental Education, and Regional Occupational Programs.

Description

We strive to support all our students and to deliver the very best education. A vital piece of that support is our volunteers who assist in student programs. Volunteers do not need to be an expert in an academic subject. Far more important is a genuine interest in the well being and education of students. By sharing their support, skills and experiences, our volunteers make a difference in students lives and are an important part in their educational experience.
