Mission Statement

The Museum of Contemporary Arts (MOCA) is dedicated to making contemporary art accessible to diverse audiences-through the collection, preservation and exhibition of a wide cross-section of the best of contemporary art and its art historical influences. MOCA provides a forum for emerging artists and presents local as well as internationally recognized artists.

Description

AUDIENCES & DEMOGRAPICS: As the only major art institution in North Dade, which is centrally located to Broward County and Greater Miami-Dade, MOCA draws heavily from nearby affluent Bal Harbour, Williams Island, Aventura, Sunny Isles and Golden Beach. In addition, a significant proportion of the audience includes visitors from the rest of Florida, the United States, Latin America and Europe.
