Description

Greyhound Adoption Center is a California-based, grassroots 501c3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating and finding quality, loving homes for greyhounds in need. We are volunteer-run and staffed almost entirely by volunteer efforts, with 200+ volunteers throughout California and in the Las Vegas area. GAC was founded in 1987, and is one of the oldest and largest greyhound rescue groups in the country.

We take in ex-racing greyhounds, as well as greyhounds and greyhound-mixes from shelters and owner relinquishments. We are a no-kill organization and place no time limit on a greyhound's stay with us until the right home is found. We also take in greyhounds of any age and medical condition.

GAC is dedicated to the life of each individual greyhound and providing quality medical treatment, socialization and care until we place the dog in a quality, loving home.
