Description

The Georgia Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (GHCC) was founded in 1984 by a group of dedicated leaders as they realized the enormous potential of the US Hispanic business community and the need for a local organization to represent their interests and fulfill their needs through the public and private sector.

The GHCC advances the interest of its members by advocating for the rights of the Hispanic business community, and by pursuing initiatives for shaping business-pertinent government policies at the local and national levels. In addition, the GHCC offers its members access to a variety of valuable resources, information, support services and networking opportunities. In 2003, the Chamber opened the Hispanic American Center for Economic Development (HACED), which advances the formation and growth of Hispanic businesses in Georgia. This organization serves the community in educational outreach, as well as housing and nurturing emerging Hispanic companies through its incubation center.
