Description

Community resource for Healthy Families/MediCal applicants, PG&E CARE enrollment and LIFELINE Telephone services. Fiscal umbrella for qualified non-profit projects that include: Sport Support 4 Kids: Provides payment of fees and equipment requirements via athletic participation scholarships for income qualified families. Family Advocates: Acts as a public adjuster and legal representative for families with insurance, welfare, social security and EDD issues. Prepares wills, trusts, powers of attorney for health and financial management. FA Estate Liquidations: Provides estate liquidation assistance to families without the skill or knowledge to deal with estate issues. California Kid Works: Mentoring program that loans funds to children ages 11 to 18 that want to start a baby-sitting, lawn mowing etc. business, or need equipment or clothing for a job - to encourage responsiblity, entrepreneurial enterprise and integrity. Liberty Housing: Works with developers for development of affordable housing component requirements in construction projects.. TEAF - Toxic Environments Affecting Families: Helps income-qualified families living in toxic environments to obtain required testing to prove contamination.
