The Edmonds EA strives to continually improve the working conditions of teachers which not only encompasses protection of their legal rights but proactively pursuing educational activities, programs and avenues that ensure a positive classroom experience/opportunity for both teachers and students.
The Edmonds EA is actively involved in supporting educational needs within the classroom and supporting programs which enhance and enrich a students learning experience.
Two such programs which have been heavily supported and directed by the Edmonds EA over the past three years are Read Across America (aimed at middle school and elementary school students) and Washington Business Week (targeting high school students).
Each of these programs are a positive contribution to both students and teachers alike.
