Mission Statement
The Salvation Army, established in 1865, is an international religious and charitable movement of the Christian Church, organized and operated in a military fashion. It's efforts are motiviated by a love for God and a concern for the needs of all humanity. The Salvation Army, a private, non profit corporation, provides assistance to all people regardless or race, color, sex, creed or age. The Battle Creek Corps of The Salvation Army extends this assistance in the whole of Calhoun and Barry Counties.

Services include but are not limited to: assistance with basic and emergency needs, food pantry, soup kitchen, Christmas outreach, youth programs, Ather School Literacy Program, men's and women's support groups, family activities, visitation and pastoral care.
