Mission Statement

The mission of the Stewards of Shanghai Prairie is to preserve and protect this rare plant community.

Description

Workdays are held in the fall to continue to cut down woody plants that are invading the prairie. We also collect seed and spread in degraded areas, plus work on purple loosestrife as needed.
