Mission Statement
The mission of Family Service of Middletown is to serve our community by providing emergency assistance to individuals and families in need with food, essential non-food items, temporary financial assistance, job readiness and crisis counseling. We strengthen our residents with resources to achieve self-sufficiency and improve the quality of their lives. Our vision is the Family Service of Middletown alleviates the impact of hunger and poverty by assisting area residents (Middletown, Franklin, Monroe, and Trenton) in moving from dependence towards self-sufficiency
Description
Family Service of Middletown is recruiting dedicated and motivated individuals to support the organizations goal to provide emergency assistance to individuals and their families. Volunteers will have many different opportunities while working with our organization including working in our pantry distributing food, clothes, and household items, distributing fresh produce at various locations in Middletown, and preparing and distributing food for seniors. Volunteers will also have the chance to work one on one with our clients to help them register for government services that will assist our customers in their transition from dependence to self-sufficiency.
