Mission Statement

To construct, pack and organize distribution of multi-terrain wheelchairs that will be given to those overseas that live in poverty and have no support. All the work is done by volunteers and all the funds and materials are donated to the organization.

It was great volunteering on my own and with Hands on Tampa Bay. The shop is busy and the volunteers teach you everything you need to know. Most of the work is quite simple. I was concerned I didn't know enough to volunteer there but I was wrong.

This is a very worthwhile cause because the people receiving the wheelchairs are very much in need. It is fun to be at the workshop and most all jobs are easy to learn.
