Mission Statement

Belle Meade Plantation is a non-profit historic site dedicated to interpreting and preserving 100 years of history. Once a 5400 acre, world renowned Thoroughbred horse farm where such horses as Seabiscuit, Secretariat and Smarty Jones can trace their bloodlines to. Today the site encompasses 30 acres and features tours of the 1853 Greek Revival Mansion.

Description

30 acre historic site that includes a 1853 Greek Revival Mansion, 1890's Carriage House and Stables, original 1790's log cabin and other historic outbuildings. Living history demonstrations featured April through October. Self guided walking tour of the property under development.
