Mission Statement

Mephibosheth Farms Angelic Riders, Inc., is a non-profit therapeutic riding center dedicated to improving the lives of the differently-abled of our community and surrounding area, bringing those involved better health, happiness, confidence and quality of life.

Description

Mephibosheth Farm is a beautiful non-profit 501c3 therapeutic riding facility located near Wingate. With a Path certified instructor, volunteers and specially trained horses we serve traditional riding, instruction or recreation, for any level or age and therapeutic riding to meet a wide range of physical, mental and emotional needs. Our instructor/trainers can train your horse, from the ground up or just a tune up. Our farm is dedicated to meeting the needs of our therapeutic riders despite their ability to pay. Money raised from traditional riding lessons, boarders and horse training along with grants and very generous donations from our caring community help make that possible.

I've volunteered at Mephibosheth for 3 years and it has been a wonderful experience. I enjoy working with the riders, the owner of the farm, the volunteers and the horses. The farm is neat, well run and very peaceful. It's also nice to see that the horses are so well cared for. I plan to continue volunteering and look forward to others joining me.
