Mission Statement

"To provide services and resources to respond to families in crisis and to improve the daily conditions of their lives."

Description

History

Texas Diaper Bank Mission: To address the diaper gap and its impact on individuals in crisis.

Texas Diaper Bank Vision: To eliminate the diaper gap in Texas.

The Texas Families Cluster of Care program model is a series of programs that provides access to diapers, incontinence supplies and other goods through direct services and in partnership with other non-profit agencies. Our partner agency model is unique in that the Texas Diaper Bank assures that partner agencies receive a monthly supply of diapers and other goods, so that they can provide a continuum of services and have real impact.

We are a proud partner of the National Diaper Bank Network, a program partner of Methodist Healthcare Ministries, and a United Way agency (#675).

Present

In 2016, the Texas Diaper Bank partnered with 26 nonprofit agencies and served over 14,000 children in 10 counties (Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Frio, Guadalupe, Hays, Kendall, Kerr, Medina, and Wilson.) The organization distributed 1,121,422 baby items, diapers, and incontinence supplies with a staff of 8 full time employees, 12 board members, and 2,800 volunteers.
