Pioneers mobilizes teams to glorify God among unreached peoples by initiating church-planting movements in partnership with local churches.

Description

Pioneers is an international missions organization focused on reaching the "unreached"--those who do not yet have access to the gospel. Since our founding in 1979 by Ted Fletcher, a former Wall Street executive, we have grown into a truly global movement. Pioneers operates 19 different bases/offices worldwide (in places like Brazil, Australia, UK, Peru and the Philippines), from which we have sent missionaries to over 180 people groups.

Shockingly, one third of the world’s population is still considered unreached by the light of the gospel. Yet statistics show that only about one in every 10 missionaries is working amongst unreached people groups.

At Pioneers, nine in 10 of our missionaries are serving among unreached peoples in some of the neediest locations around the world. For example, we have workers on the ground addressing the needs of the growing number of Syrian refugees.
