Mission Statement

To educate the Latino community in New York City on prevention and treatment of diabetes

Description

We are non-profit 501(c)3 organization founded in 2001, but unable to fulfill our mission due to lack of funding. We plan to target the Latino community in the South Bronx and East Harlem and provide free education on the causes of diabetes and how to prevent and treat this disease. We are looking for volunteers who can undertake fundraising activities to fund the program necessary to carry our mission.
