Wildfires are devastating communities across California, causing more than 300,000 people to evacuate their homes and threatening many more. The Camp Fire in Northern California -- one of three blazing across the state -- is the most destructive in state history. We want to ensure that, if you are in an affected community, you find access to shelter. And if you are looking to help with disaster relief efforts, you know the most effective ways to contribute.

The byline of the Greater Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce is "Where community & business become one."
The Mission Statement of the Chamber is "To advocate for and promote the interests of our business community."
The Vision of the Chamber is to
Be a leader in economic development
Maintain strong support for our existing businesses
Promote new avenues of business; grow through partnerships, tourism, and attracting new business
Work to maintain and improve the quality of life in our community
The Chamber works to see its vision fulfilled by developing programs and services which enhance economic activity as well as serving as the Visitors’ Center for the City of Poulsbo. Currently our volunteers serve both the administrative as well as the Visitors’ Center side of our operation. As we move forward, our Visitors’ Center will be in need of more great volunteers. The Greater Poulsbo Chamber of Commerce was established in 1954 as a way for local business people to connect with one another, socially as well as for business advancement. More recently, the Chamber has filled the void for visitors to this popular Norwegian waterfront village, helping families and individuals find their way around town as well around the greater Poulsbo area. The Visitors’ Center is currently open during business hours in the front office of the Chamber headquarters on 8th Avenue near the Albertson’s shopping center. Our future plans include creating a full-service Visitors’ Center, open seven days a week during peak season, as well as potentially hosting a satellite location in Historic Downtown Poulsbo. We look forward to establishing a full crew of eager volunteers - people committed to customer service, those who enjoy helping others, and those who would like to bring businesses and individuals together while sharing all that the greater Poulsbo area has to offer. Could that be you?
