Mission Statement

The Foundation for Worldwide International Student Exchange (WISE™) is a non-profit organization providing international exchange opportunities to students, youth and adults. WISE™ staff are well qualified to assist program in order to ensure a meaningful and memorable experience.

Our Philosophy...

WISE™ believes in facilitating an international environment in which all participants, students, young professionals, families and hosts alike, share their lives, thus helping bridge the gap between cultures and increase global friendships. WISE™ offers a number of programs for international students, young professionals and adults as well as outbound programs for American youth wishing to travel overseas.

Promote world peace and understanding through cultural exchanges and global friendship to be accomplished through academic, professional and recreational programs.

Description

International students experience anywhere from one month to one semester to an entire year at an American University while living with a host family. Their goal is to better learn about the US culture by living it. We recommend this program for families who want to develop life long friendships and a global perspective by hosting!

WISE™ University programs offer unique cross-cultural experiences for international participants and their U.S. hosts. University Homestay programs offer international students a chance to experience life in the United States in a typical American family, while pursuing studies and practicing English at a leading university. Programs are located throughout California in a variety of communities.
