Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide the Lafayette community with crisis intervention, suicide prevention, information and referral, and rape survivor advocacy by phone or in person 24 hours a day, every day of the year. Our services are free and confidential and provided to the public by trained volunteers.

Description

The Crisis Center is a nonprofit organization that is staffed by trained volunteers. We provide telephone and walk-in services to people from all walks of life. We provide a listening ear and help callers and walk-ins talk through their problem to come up with a solution that works best for them.

Our services include a Crisis Line, Information & Referral/211 Line, Teen Line, and Rape Survivor Advocacy and Prevention 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
