About the event Help us host a FREE community event celebrating culture, art, and conservation at the Bicycle Arts & Culture event! This family-friendly gathering, held in honor of Latino Conservation Week, is perfect for children and their families to enjoy the outdoors together. We have lots of stations and roles for you to choose from! What will volunteers do? As a volunteer, you'll create a welcoming and friendly environment for our guests. You'll check in their bikes, then carefully park and watch over them. You'll also help us with the set-up and tear-down of our tent, tables, and valet fence. The best part is the fun we have engaging the community! You'll be answering questions, listening to ideas, and promoting upcoming biking events, advocacy efforts, and local biking resources. What will volunteers need to bring or wear? Hopefully, you'll roll to the event on a bike, board or scoot yourself, so bring your smile and comfy clothes. If you've volunteered with us already, and have a San Diego County Bicycle Coalition t-shirt, please wear that. Make sure you have plenty of water!

About the event Sprockids San Diego Celebrates Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day with SHREDFEST! The Sprockids San Diego Shredfest is all about having fun on bikes. Guests will enjoy a lively afternoon riding the CLIF pump track, teeter totters and pyramids, bike jumping, obstacle courses as well as games such as limbo and the all time favorite, anarchy island! Riders will traverse through numerous stations during the event and gain exposure to a variety of bike skills. This is an ALL AGES event, if your youngest is on a strider bike or still learning to ride please be ready to assist them through the course. This is a must attend event and Sprockids fan favorite, we’ll see you there! What will volunteers do? Volunteer at Sprockids SHREDFEST with the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition! Join us for a fun-filled day of cycling and community engagement by volunteering at our booth. As a volunteer, you'll help: Engage with event attendees: Welcome visitors, share information about the coalition's mission, and answer any questions. Distribute promotional materials: Hand out brochures, flyers, and swag to raise awareness about our programs and upcoming events. Sign up new members: Assist people interested in joining our coalition or participating in our classes and initiatives. Spread the love for cycling: Share your passion for biking and help inspire others to join the movement for safer streets and healthier communities. No experience is required-just bring a positive attitude and a love for cycling! What will volunteers need to bring or wear? Please bring a refillable water bottle.

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes. Consider sunscreen and a hat.

About the event Join The Bike Park Team! Are you someone who loves the outdoors, being physically active, taking care of guests, petting dogs, handing out stickers to kiddos, and enjoying live music? If so, volunteering with The Bike Park is the perfect opportunity for you! Come be a part of something special - encouraging biking, skating, and scooting over driving to events not only enhances the well-being of individuals but also contributes to healthier, more vibrant, and more connected communities. You'll also get to see a bunch of the cool, personalized bikes people drop off for us to carefully watch over, all while being part of a fun, community-driven environment. What will volunteers do? Volunteers create a welcoming and friendly environment, making guests feel appreciated.
