The Georgia Personal Assistance Service (PAS) Corps is an affiliated program of the Institute on Human Development and Disability (IHDD) at the University of Georgia. Our corps strives to strengthen communities by bringing aobut lasting and constructive change in the lives of people with disabilities.

Description

Personal Assistance Service (PAS) is defined as assisting an individual with a disability with personal care, independent living skills, educational pursuits, employment initiatives, civic engagement, community inclusion, socialization, and recreation. For many people with disabilities, PAS are the means by which they become or remain productive, participate actively in their communities and gain life satisfaction.
