Assistance For All (AFAL)

Description

Assistance For All (AFAL) is a California nonprofit corporation organized under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

AFAL was formed by a group of socially sensitive people with varying professional background and experience and whose motivating factor was their desire to assist the community through education, training and other integrated development programs. AFAL works with disadvantaged communities, the low income, foster youths, and victims of disasters, (regardless of religion, race, political persuation or ethnic affiliation) creating a condition in which poverty can be reduced and these people can live a better life.

We believe that long-term programs are the most cost effective and most positive way to create opportunities for change.

AFAL programs are designed to tackled the problems of poverty at the grass-root level, including health (HIV/AIDS pandemic), education, environment.

Projects are carried out in consultation with the communities; the low incom and victims themselves are encouraged to participate.
