Mission Statement

LSKO Corporation DBA, Kids Resource, promotes education and social awareness by providing resources and tools that educate the public on topics relating to childhood social challenges. Kids Resource will offer deliverys of presentations, media productions and the publication of materials that speak directly to children on problems and issues they may face in their everyday lives. Campaigns will address substance abuse, child abuse, self-esteem, media literacy, bullying, obesity and healthy, active living. Topics relate to promoting public awareness of children’s social and wellness issues and also become the basis for emerging trends in new education programs. The organization will support formal or classroom-based education, as well as informal education programs that occur outside the classroom. Outreach campaigns will provide educational experiences that promote healthy living, social welfare, defend civil and human rights and work to eliminate prejudice and discrimination for young people in classrooms, libraries, after-school programs, community-based organizations, museums, etc., as well as supporting the development of professionals and paraprofessionals who work with kids towards combating community deterioration and juvenile delinquency. While both schools and after-school programs serve students, many kids who feel disenfranchised at school blossom in after-school settings. Kids Resource is committed to achieving success in an informal setting which can lead to greater confidence in the formal classroom. An additional benefit of developing materials for informal educational settings is that they may be useful to parents at home with their kids, or to adult learners who are looking to expand their knowledge and awareness.
